View this email in your browser     ANH eAlert No 15 | 11 April 2018         e-ALERT     Energy week – 5G and homeopathy           Is energy really the ‘new frontier’. Historically, humans have long delved into a world that goes beyond consensus science. Andronicus of Rhodes, the head of Aristotle’s Peripatetic School coined the term ‘metaphysical’ back in the 1st century BC. The term embodies anything that goes beyond the physical – and that’s of course what energy is. But in an era in which the physical and material have been given such import, we are getting increasingly schizophrenic about certain non-physical things – especially energy. We love it when it does things for us that we need to maintain our materialistic world (read: wireless technologies) – yet we abhor it when it challenges the system we feel comfortable with (read: homeopathy). As it happens, these are the very two themes we pick up this week in our top stories. Please dig into our news items too.
