I apologise because falafels don’t quite make it onto our menu of subjects this week. They do get a mention in Dr Rupy Aujla’s amazing book with which our entire team has engaged this week, but there’s no recipe for them. That said, they’re an appetising and generally healthy foodstuff that does rhyme with the two f’s in our other story – about folic acid fortification, or not. That’s a must for pregnant women, vitamin aficionados, practitioners, policy makers, scientists, parents….actually, most of us!
