This week - and it’s not for the first time - it’s all about food. Not only have we updated our own Food4Health guidelines, some three and a half years after they were launched, we also look at what we can learn from some of the available data on the diets of our closest primate relatives. The take home is that we ignore our evolutionary history at our own peril.
Meleni, our executive coordinator, and myself are off this week on our annual pilgrimage to the Institute for Functional Medicine’s annual conference - this year in Hollywood, Florida. A significant proportion of the world’s functional medicine community will be gathered there too. This time around the theme is autoimmunity, about which we’ll bring you some of the latest insights next week.
