View this email in your browser     ANH-Intl eAlert No 340 | 22 February 2017         e-ALERT     Maxxed on Vaxxed?           The bullying, deception, fraud and negligence that might one day be placed at the door of the Government/Pharma consortium that is determined to see vaccinations as the cornerstone of healthcare policy could dwarf anything that’s been thrown at Andrew Wakefield. Time will of course be the judge. Amidst conflicting and highly uncertain scientific data, distorted by a biased media capable of controlling the news agenda and censoring news at will, it is just plain stupid to imagine the public at large will blindly accept government health protestations that vaccines are inherently safe. We offer you this week, three stories about the unfolding issues around vaccine safety. Two come from leading national journalists and writers in the UK that have had their articles pulled by a major publisher. In the other piece, I have attempted to contextualise some of what is going on, arguing that extremely polarised positions are not tenable scientifically or ethically. If we are to move the situation forward, we need open, scientific research and debate — and we need a free media. Presently we have neither. We also need to stop government health authorities from claiming vaccines as safe. A campaign is now developing globally and it’s fantastic to see a great diversity of groups, scientists, medics and members of the public come together in an effort tease out a clearer understanding of vaccine safety.
