Natural News
- Linoleic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid found in industrially processed seed oils, used in many highly processed convenience foods and some animal products, has been found to promote the growth of triple-negative breast cancer by activating the mTORC1 pathway via an intracellular protein called FABP5 that transports fatty acids. Researchers publishing in Science, suggest the use of personalised dietary interventions to help manage this aggressive cancer subtype. Despite high profile campaigns dismissing concerns about ultra processed seed oils, it’s known that eating too much omega-6-rich oil creates an imbalance in our omega-6 to omega-3 ratio, which leads to chronic inflammation. Ignore the media that is trying to tell you otherwise and find out why seed oils pose such a threat to our health and how you can restore your omega 3/omega 6 ratio to a health-protective level
- People who eat foods containing multiple food additives and sweeteners are at higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes. A new study from French researchers, published in PLOS ONE, found two particular mixtures of food additives, one containing emulsifiers, preservatives and a dye, the second containing acidifiers, acid regulators, dyes, artificial sweeteners and emulsifiers were particularly associated with the development of type 2 diabetes.

- The Nourishment Table is a fresh take on dietary guidelines that ditches rigid diet rules. Based on a new study published in Animal Frontiers, it prioritises nutrient-rich, minimally processed foods, including animal products, over ultra-processed junk. Flexible and practical, it’s about real nourishment, especially for kids and older people, not just 'healthy' labels
- A new study published in the Journal of Neurology, Neurosurgery & Psychiatry seems set to give big pharma a free pass on statin use. Findings suggest that low levels of LDL cholesterol may reduce dementia risk. However, dementia is a complex disease, that’s influenced by multiple factors including risks fuelled by diet and lifestyle. It's worth remembering that this is an observational study, and as such, no firm conclusions can be drawn about cause and effect, particularly when it comes to the use of statins to tackle spiralling rates of neurological disease.

- A recent meta-analysis, based on 40 years of data and published in Organic Agriculture, showcases how organic farming enhances biodiversity, soil quality, whilst reducing environmental impact, along with its benefits to both natural ecosystems and in turn, society
- On 20th March Acqui Terme became the latest and largest city in Italy to take the bold stand of declaring its territory free from GMOs – “old and new ones”. As pressure to bring in the deregulation of 'new' gene edited organisms continues in multiple countries, GMO free Europe has started a grassroots campaign to declare "New GMO-Free Municipalities", starting with Italy where 4 municipalities have adopted the resolution with 9 more cities and villages considering adopting the resolution
- Efforts by pesticide manufacturers in the US to bring in state-level legislation that would give them immunity from prosecution for harm caused by their products, has had a significant setback as Bayer’s ‘Cancer Gag Act’ was rejected by the Iowa House. The rejection shows how effective grassroots action can be after 31 groups, representing tens of thousands of Iowa residents, called on their representatives to stop the legislation
- As pushbacks against the introduction of total immunity bills continues across the US, agrochemical giant, Bayer is changing tactics by petitioning the US Supreme Court to block lawsuits brought against it for failure to warn about the harms of Roundup
- A new petition from the GfÖ, The Ecological Society of Germany, Austria and Switzerland, calls on the European Commission, Parliament and Council to prevent deregulation of ‘new genomic techniques’ (NGTs) for wild plants due to the serious risk to biodiversity should such organisms be released
- In the UK, the secondary legislation needed to deregulate gene edited organisms passed with barely a whisper. This legislation is the beginning of the slide to complete deregulation, which will result in unlabelled, untraceable and un-risk assessed ‘new GMOs’ coming to fields and plates near you soon. - Utah has become the first state in the US to ban the fluoridation of drinking water. The ban will take effect from the 7th May
- Plans are afoot in the UK to ban the advertising and sponsorship of all vapes and prevent vapes being sold to under 18s under the Tobacco and Vapes Bill, originally proposed by the previous Tory government and now resurrected under the current Labour government. Alongside the move to prevent young people from vaping, a new study has been announced that will track 100,000 young people aged 8 to 18 over a decade, collecting data on their behaviour, biology and health records to find out what affects their health and wellbeing including the impact of vaping
- Employees of the US based, Cleveland Clinic, who received a flu vaccine in the 2024/25 season were 27% more likely to contract flu than those that weren't vaccinated according to a new preprint study published in the International Journal of Preventative Medicine. Nicolas Hulscher has the full story on the Courageous Discourse Substack
- President Trump has directed the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to conduct wide-ranging research to uncover what’s driving the exponential increase in levels of autism in the US including the role of vaccines in triggering autism. The news has created a lot kickback from the autism community as they seek to continue the normalisation of autism and debunk any potential links to childhood vaccination.
ANH-USA Update
- Public health is being put last as the heavily industry-influenced, US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), cosies up with the telecoms industry to prioritise profits as it pushes out 5G technologies ignoring people’s concerns about the lack of safety studies. Action Alert! Sign the petition today calling for reforms to the FCC system to put public health first.
Free Speech Harms
- The UK’s Online Safety Bill has claimed its first casualty amongst new alt-media video hosting services. Bitchute, which came to the fore during covid, has withdrawn from UK viewing due to concerns over Ofcom’s ability to levy fines up to 10% of their annual global turnover if they fail to comply with censorship demands. UK content creators will continue to be able to post content to the platform, but UK residents will no longer be able to view the platform’s content in the UK. The Daily Sceptic has more.

- Covid vaccine spike protein has been found in the brains of Japanese people who suffered brain bleeds. Publishing in The Journal of Clinical Neuroscience, researchers found spike protein in the lining of brain arteries in seven out of sixteen vaccinated patients. One female patient had spike protein present 17 months after her last shot and another 11 months later raising further questions over the supposed safety of the covid jabs. Sonie Elijah has the full story
- A new study links covid vaccination to increased risk of stroke, heart attack, coronary artery disease and arrhythmia. The meta-analysis, published in the International Journal of Preventative Medicine, analysed 15 studies covering 85 million individuals. Nicolas Hulscher has more.

You have to wonder (if that's the proper term) of people who were urged and took an injection that targeted their reproductive system, ovaries and testes and now is found in the brain. What other warnings will people unheed and continue down this path of self and other induced destruction?
