Natural News
- News that the FDA Dragon Slayer, top constitutional lawyer, Jonathan Emord, is joining the ANH team is reaching far and wide as natural health organisations recognise the opportunities his appointment presents in the post Chevron doctrine era to use litigation to protect people's access to natural health options
- The time taken to diagnose children aged 6-17 years with ADHD, could be significantly reduced after the UK’s National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) recommended the use of the Qb test, an online system, to support diagnosis. Adoption of the new system is predicted to reduce diagnosis times from years to months, which could result in a significantly higher number of children (and potentially adults) being diagnoses. The guidance, which is now out for consultation, is clear that using the test should be just one part of a professional led assessment
- BBC research, based on Freedom of Information requests, has found that just under 200,000 British adults are currently waiting for an ADHD assessment and that it could take, on average, 8 years for all of them to seen. Such a situation presents a perfect opportunity for qualified health professionals, such as nutritional therapists, to work with those waiting for a diagnosis on a range of, what could be, life-changing changes to their diet and lifestyle using targeted functional testing to personalise and tailor interventions, such as those set out in the ANH Blueprint for Sustainable Healthcare Systems
- Eating a healthy diet during pregnancy can reduce the likelihood of children developing autism according to a new study using data from Norway and the UK, published in JAMA Network Open. The study emphasises the importance of good nutrition both before and during pregnancy to ensure the developing baby gets all the vital nutrients needed for the development of a healthy brain.

- Frightening new analysis, published in the European Journal of Nutrition, using data from the UK National Diet and Nutrition Survey, from 2008/9-2018/19, has found that UK adolescents get most of their calories from ultra-processed foods (UPFs). Many of the foods being consumed are low in essential nutrients, which can significantly impact young people’s mental health and wellbeing
- Robust gut health promotes a healthy brain and high resiliency leading people to be less anxious and depressed and enjoy better cognition. A recent paper published in Nature Mental Health found that resilience is a whole body phenomenon rooted in good gut health

- Increasing digitisation of GP services through online services are causing serious harms and even deaths as patient symptoms are misdiagnosed or even missed. It's time to return to basic medical care based on face to face consultations by GPs that know their patients and implement systems that encourage and prioritise self-care, using appropriate nature health professionals, alongside dietary and lifestyle changes to preventative rather than manage disease.

- Hungary has notified the European Commission of its plans, following Italy’s lead, to restrict the production and sale of cultivated (lab-grown) ‘meat’. As concerns over its safety and nutritional value mount, those supporting its wholesale introduction recently unveiled a YouGov survey purporting to find that over half of those surveyed support the introduction of lab-grown ‘meat’ as long as their governments proclaim it to be safe
- RethinkX has created a ‘Periodic Table of Precision Fermentation’ highlighting the extent to which synbio products created using ‘precision fermentation’, are already being used for a range of medical, health-related and food purposes, without our knowledge
- An article, also from RethinkX , shows the amount of dairy proteins, made using precision fermentation, that are now entering the food chain, as Big Food concentrates on creating ‘food’ products sans nature.

- Not only is there a concerted effort from Big Biotech to deregulate gene edited organisms, we’re now facing an even greater threat from the introduction of pesticides designed to ‘edit’ the genes of organisms directly in the environment. A new paper, published in Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety, warms that although such genetic pesticides are claimed to be more environmentally ‘friendly’ than conventional pesticides, there’s a very real danger such technology could affect non-target organisms. As has often been said, once the lid has been removed from Pandora's Box, there's no knowing what might happen nor is there any going back
- A paper written by an Indian doctor, Cyriac Abby Philips, known on X (Twitter) as ‘TheLiverDoc’, - where he regularly criticises and dismisses traditional therapies such as Ayurveda and homeopathy - suggesting a herbal supplement may harm health, has been withdrawn after the company that sells the products in question, sued for defamation. This isn’t the first time one of his paper’s has been retracted for defamation of herbal products.

- A study of excess mortality across 125 countries, published by Canadian non-profit, Correlation Research in the Public Interest, led by Denis Rancourt PhD, finds draconian covid control measures including jab mandates and lockdowns were a major cause of excess deaths. The authors of the study concluded that had a pandemic not been declared and acted on “nothing special” would have happened in regard to overall mortality. The Defender has more…
- German journalist, Aya Velázquez has published uncensored minutes of meetings of the German Robert Koch Institute (RKI), given to her by a whistleblower former employee of the RKI.
