For over two years the world has been in thrall to covid and the accompanying narrative. Brutal restrictions saw people confined to their homes, isolated from their friends, families and communities. Highly effective fear campaigns left individuals terrified they would die should they contract covid. The marks left by the ‘pandemic’ declared by the World Health Organization on the 11th March 2020 are far reaching and will echo down through the generations.
Then, just as people start to draw breath as the restrictions ease in many parts of the world, there is a new undercurrent of fear about the next, 'more virulent' pandemic starting to emanate through the media. Coupled with the ongoing crackdowns on free speech and information supporting treatments that should’ve been implemented on their power to save lives and the coordinated take down of doctors and scientists that dare to think outside of the box. It's a mad world when supporting immune resilience through both natural means and use of certain older drugs is considered medical heresy.
Yet, here we are and we are surviving in this mad world. More than that, many of us are thriving and more and more are stepping out of the system. Awareness-raising triggers such as the acting director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) recently admitting to Congress that the early genomic sequences of SARS-CoV-2 have been removed from public view at the behest of Chinese scientists are very helpful. He is reported to have said that the data hasn’t been deleted, but it isn’t generally accessible. Why?
Below is this week’s round up of covid related news items from around the world. It's especially interesting how many so-called 'conspiracy theories' are now acknowledged as reality and being shared through mainstream media channels. A case of boiling the frog slowly? Not slowly enough though for all of those now stepping up and speaking out. Fear is a construct that we have the power to transcend.
Pushbacks & positives!
- The World Doctors Alliance instructed a lawyer to write a letter to Boris Johnson and Sajid Javid requesting they withdraw the proposed amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005), which have the potential to remove UK sovereignty in the event of a health emergency being declared. There's been no response from the UK Government so court proceedings have been issued in an attempt to stop the attempted breach of UK citizens constitutional rights
- Brave doctors in the US are getting ready to speak out about the use of fake vaccine cards given to doctors, who refused mandated vaccines, by senior staff to prevent them from losing their jobs even as more junior staff were losing their jobs or being coerced into accepting an unwanted medical intervention. So strong are their feelings, these doctors are now willing to lay their careers on the line in order to set the record straight
- Following a massive outcry, the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has announced it's suspending the newly established Disinformation Board pending further review by an independent advisory council
- A new Academy for Science and Freedom was set up as part of Hillsdale College in the US at the end of 2021 to “…combat the recent and widespread abuses of individual and academic freedom made in the name of science…”. Jay Bhattacharya MD, Martin Kulldorff PhD who were involved in the creation of the Great Barrington Declaration and Scott W Atlas MD will be fellows of the Academy
- Under the banner of the Global Covid Summit, 17,000 doctors and scientists have declared that the state of medical emergency initiated to combat covid must be lifted, scientific integrity restored and all crimes against humanity be addressed
- PCR tests will no longer be required for travellers entering Israel either before they fly or when they arrive in Israel
- Health Freedom Defense is adding its voice to those opposing the power grab by the World Health Organization (WHO) under the proposed Pandemic Treaty. To mark this, it's launched the World Freedom Declaration, which can be signed by citizens globally who wish to add their voices to the increasing chorus of people standing up for their unalienable rights and freedoms and protecting their sovereignty
- In contrast to the conclusions from the TOGETHER trial, the effectiveness of early treatment is emphasised in a new preprint article from Drs Zelenko, McCullough and Prof Gkioulekas. The article proposes a way to measure the existence of treatment efficacy in innovative treatment protocols during a public health emergency. The techniques established by the team have then been applied to a series of case studies of high-risk covid patients treated using the early Zelenko protocol and latterly the McCullough protocol.
Censorship
- Investigative reporter, Sharyl Atkinsson, has shared internal documents from the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) revealing how it’s been tracking and cataloguing jab-related social media posts from elected officials. The purpose of the tracking isn’t clear but of concern is the fact that the CDC have been covertly tracking what elected officials are saying about covid related issues without permission from those being tracked.
Restrictions
- A leading UK scientist responsible for some of the modelling that led to the forecasting of massive covid death tolls used to justify the brutal restrictions brought in by governments worldwide, is backtracking on his predictions. Speaking at the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Disease 40th annual conference, Professor John Edmunds said the models were only supposed to be ‘one component’ of the decision-making process and accepted that the models he contributed to failed to take account of potential economic harms and the knock-on effects of lockdowns. He also admitted more optimistic modelling was ignored because it didn’t assist a swift decision making process.
Masks
- Wearing a face mask results in exposure to dangerous concentrations of carbon dioxide being breathed in, even when the mask is worn for just five minutes when sitting still. The highest levels of CO2 concentration were found in children wearing masks according to a new preprint study.
Covid injections
- An analysis of US VAERS data related to myocarditis, published in Zenodo, has found that covid injections are driving above-background reporting of myo- and pericarditis that is unrelated to covid infections. Of the 5,071 relevant reports in VAERS, 2% report individuals that have died, 71% involve hospitalisation and 22% of all reported cases were in children aged 0-19. The authors are calling for the jab roll out to be halted until more is known about the risks posed by the jabs
- A leading opposition politician in Canada is highlighting ongoing restrictions against those who choose to remain jab-free. Maxime Bernier has said he’s happy he made the “rational” decision not to be covid jabbed. However, it means he’s had to complete a tour to promote his political party by car as he’s still not allowed to travel by air, rail or sea because of his jab status due to the ongoing ban. The PPC party has consistently voted against covid restrictions such as lockdowns, vaccine passports and mask mandates and called out the Canadian government for its attacks on freedom of speech and its handling of the trucker Freedom Convoy protest
- Freedom to Fly Canada has published a statement from a coalition of aviation and medical professionals expressing serious concerns about continued aviation safety due to the number of jab injuries reportedly being suffered by flight crew. The statement represents over 30 airlines, thousands of pilots and over 17,000 physicians and scientists from around the world
- The lead of the UK’s covid probe, Baroness Heather Hallett, is calling for covid jab injuries and deaths to be included as part of the terms of the public enquiry
- A peer-reviewed paper published in the journal Viruses in October 2021, that claimed the spike protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus can damage DNA has been retracted after an expression of concern was slapped on it in December when a member of the research team expressed concern over its methodology. One the co-authors told Retraction Watch that he “…absolutely disagrees with the retraction”
- The US Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has issued emergency use authorisation (EUA) for booster jabs to be given to children aged 5-11 years 5 months following initial jabs
- The EUA comes as a research letter published in JAMA Network Open that found a significant decline in jab-induced antibodies within a few weeks of people receiving second and third doses of the Pfizer jabs. The findings are supported by an Original Investigation published in JAMA on the same day focusing on the effectiveness of booster jabs in children. The researchers found that although there was a small rise in antibodies following injection, they declined within a few weeks
- News that jab-based immunity wanes quickly has now made it into the mainstream media, although it’s being spun to support the message that there's still a need for yet more shots as the focus moves from preventing infection and transmission to reducing severity of illness. The message is getting through to people generally though that the jabs are not the panacea they were promised to be, as many reject booster shots and parents question the validity of covid jabs for young children.
Other News
- Workers in the UK are the most reluctant to return to the office following orders to work from home during the coronavirus crisis according to a new global survey conducted by the Working from Home Research Project (WHF Research). In what’s being termed a ‘flexidus’, many staff are now demanding to be given flexible working terms allowing them to work part-time from home and part-time in the office. Twenty three percent of UK workers surveyed said they would quit or look for a new job if they were forced back to the office compared to 15% of global employees surveyed
- Up until the past week covid appeared not to exist in North Korea. Virtually overnight the country has gone from announcing one covid death to more than a million citizens experiencing a fever. In an update though, the official news agency reported that a fever has been circulating since the end of April. The news comes as the country is plunged into a nationwide lockdown
- One of the consequences of the covid crisis is the loss of face to face GP appointments in the UK and elsewhere as healthcare providers ushered in a new era of telemedicine. In Scotland, a government survey of 130,000 patients showed a 12% drop in patient satisfaction with GP services over the past 2 years and a fall of 23% compared to a decade ago. The Scottish health secretary recently admitted a hybrid model using telemedicine and face to face appointments is now a permanent feature of healthcare.
