Jonathan Emord discussed Ukraine. I feel that Putin's actions were probably the result of Nato expansionism and not just a whim of a megalomaniac. Putin fears NATO just as the US feared the missiles in Cuba. He wanted a neutral state on his boarder. Why could NATO not agree to this? There are several neutral states in the region. Ukraine is not ready for EU membership or membership of NATO. There is too much corruption and disagreement within the country. If NATO had agreed to restrict NATO membership - even for a set number of years, it would have helped Ukraine to get its house in order and reassure Putin that Russia was safe.

Anna Walker is spot on! Why does CDC have bio warfare sites in Ukraine? That alone is sufficient reason for Putin to stop the aggression!
