These are just a few of the words that seep through my consciousness when I think of Ronnie - Ronnie Cummins - who passed on Wednesday, close to his beloved Via Organica ranch near San Miguel de Allende.

Ronnie was the co-founder and International Director of the US Organic Consumers Association – a non-profit devoted to fighting for healthy soil, healthy animals, healthy people and a healthy planet.

Below you’ll find an extract from an article, “COVID 2022: Murder Most Foul” that Ronnie published on April 1, 2023, a week after Mel and my last visit to Via Organica. It’s an updated version of an article he released on April 29, 2020, entitled “Murder Most Foul: The Perps Behind COVID", in turn inspired by Bob Dylan’s song, “Murder Most Foul”, released shortly after the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a ‘Public Health Emergency of International Concern’.

Ronnie's article, including the views expressed on SARS-CoV2 origins, was interpreted variously as controversial or even radical conspiracy theory. While Ronnie had convinced himself of the voracity of his claims, it pained him that some long-standing colleagues, collaborators and supporters in the organic and natural health movements chose to distance themselves from him. Some of the 2 million OCA supporters withdrew, only to be replaced by others who did resonate with Ronnie’s sentiments. Recent analyses, including the Muddy Waters report out of a U.S. Senate committee, reminds us who had a clearer view of reality.

This contemporary Great Reset, though temporarily derailed by public opposition, disastrous COVID government policies, and the evermore obvious failures and collateral damages of the experimental rushed to market vaccines, still poses a major threat. We are still in the “Eye of the Storm” trying to regenerate a polarized, misinformed, and panicked body politic, fighting a politico/medical national security state that has successfully carried out a dress rehearsal for bio-fascism, including a redefinition of key scientific and medical terms and principles (vaccines, natural immunity, pandemic, cases), arbitrary states of Emergency, suspensions of civil liberties, economic lockdowns, school closings, censorship, restrictions on travel, mask mandates, vaccine passports, and a new belligerent foreign policy amounting to nuclear roulette with Russia and China.

The powerful technocrats, politicians, globalists, military contractors, and medical czars who nearly pulled off a coup d’état during the COVID-19 epidemic are apparently determined to push forward. The national and international medical security state continues hiding and manipulating data, trying to blame everyone but themselves for an alarming increase in overall (non-COVID) deaths, vaccine injuries, and serious illnesses; hyping new significantly weaker variants of COVID-19 as if we are somehow in mortal danger; magnifying risks of monkeypox; fear-mongering around the supposed reemergence of polio; controlling information; and de-platforming and slandering truth-tellers on COVID and the war in Ukraine.

Even as the U.S. biosecurity state is forced to back off on mandates and masks, and even admitting that the CDC needs to be “radically reorganized,” they are still claiming the right to carry out reckless bioweapons research, and to implement future emergency decrees, lockdowns, school and business closures, and restrictions on civil liberties—if and when the next engineered pandemic is unleashed, or the Communist Boogieman threatens our shores.

Ronnie told me he needed another 10 years to see through the work he’d come here to manifest. Changes to the changes on the planet he loved so dearly that he felt he’d come here to manifest.

He must now complete this work from a higher place. Perhaps this seemingly cruel loss was always part of his soul’s master plan.

Biography Ronnie Cummins
International Director Organic Consumers Association

Ronnie Cummins is co-founder and International Director of the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) and its Mexico affiliate Via Organica.

(OCA) is a non-profit, U.S. based network of two million consumers, dedicated to safeguarding organic standards and promoting a healthy, just, and sustainable system of agriculture and commerce. The OCA’s primary strategy is to work on national and global campaigns promoting health, justice, and sustainability that integrate public education, marketplace pressure, media work, litigation, and grassroots lobbying.

Cummins has been active as a writer and activist since the 1960s, with extensive experience in public education, grassroots mobilization, and marketplace pressure campaigns. Over the past two decades he has served as director of US and international campaigns dealing with sustainable agriculture issues including food safety, genetic engineering, factory farming, and global warming. From 1992-98 Cummins served as a campaign director for the Foundation on Economic Trends in Washington, D.C. In 1998, Cummins co-founded the Organic Consumers Association, the largest network of organic consumers in the USA. In 2009 Cummins founded Via Organica, a network of organic consumers and farmers based in Mexico City and San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. Cummins is a frequent lecturer, both in the US and abroad as well as a regular contributor to online publications such as Organic Bytes, Common Dreams, Truthout, Huffington Post, and Nation of Change. Cummins has published hundreds of articles in the alternative and mainstream press. He is also the author of a series of children’s books called “Children of the World,” and also “Genetically Engineered Food: A Self-Defense Guide for Consumers” (Second Revised Edition Marlowe & Company 2004). Cummins lives with his wife and 17 year-old son in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
