New research from the USA finds that colas are bad for bones

"Women, particularly those concerned about osteoporosis should limit their intake of cola to occasional", says Prof Katherine Tucker of Tufts University, Boston, USA. Recently published research in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition finds that colas (other carbonated beverages not included in study) are associated with low bone mineral density in older women.
