August Tailoring Tolerance - Spirit

Welcome to week 3 of August's Tailoring Tolerance series. This week we consider the oft overlooked and little discussed topic of Spirit.

Throughout our lives, we have been conditioned from our earliest years to look externally to have our needs met. Being at one with ourselves and our world around us, or looking within to find our happiness and security is often elusive for many as a result. Western cultures, in particular, tend to overlook the power and importance of having mission and purpose in life, of engaging in creative expression, of putting energy into our health, of creating healthy relationships and community. Yet not doing so has such negative impacts on our health. Our ability to deeply connect to our inner world is too often the missing link. Going within allows us to reconnect to our inner wisdom and personal power, to connect to Source and to meet our higher needs - ourselves.

We're also sharing Rob Verkerk PhD's recent interview with Sylvie Beljanski and Victor Dyer of the Beljanski Foundation, where he discusses his 20-year battle against regulatory restrictions on natural health products in Europe and the ongoing challenges faced in the US. He highlights the importance of preserving our healthcare freedoms, the role of public trust, and the move towards integrative medicine.
