CBD, novel foods, Brexit and prevention

We’ve got a lot to share this week. That’s the result of the year kicking off with a bang as it does, especially when it signals a new decade, a new government in the UK with a big majority, and Brexit of course. That means I’m going to keep this preview very short and to the point.

In my special report this week on CBD, I pick up where I left my CBD special report from last November. I hate to peddle fear or bad news, but we’re very worried about some of the regulatory developments around CBD supplements and teas. If they’re not challenged decisively now, we think the result could be a travesty to citizens’ rights to access natural health. Read and share please.

You’ll also find out more about what plans await the UK on novel foods and disease prevention in the NHS. We heard it late last week straight from the mouths of those directly involved at two different Westminster Forums, including the UK authority on food safety, the FSA, leaders from various NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups and Public Health England top brass.
