Censorship and the oralome
Greetings from Florida where Rob and I have been attending the Organic & Natural Health Association's annual conference, taking part in transformative discussions with leading US industry voices and strengthening alliances. With the extent of the challenges we face globally to natural and regenerative health and agriculture, the more we can work together, the stronger we are.
Our newsletter focus this week is very much on the oral cavity — from the very real threat that mass censorship poses to our freedom of speech, to our much neglected, but oh-so-important oral microbiome.
In the wake of the recent WEF meeting in Davos, the greatest risk over the next two years has been identified to be "misinformation and disinformation", heralding a new era of censorship and information crackdowns. In our lead article, Rob explores the impact of scientific and medical censorship and oulines the acute need for transparency.
We shine a spotlight on the importance of maintaining a robust and balanced oral microbiome for our health and wellbeing. It's far more critical for your long term health than you might have considered and you'll be all the better for giving the microbes in your mouth some more love.

The conditioning of the past 4 years is manifesting now with a new level of self-censorship in students and academics, such is the fear of being denounced, mobbed or formally sanctioned.
