Fibre and diabetes wars
I’m no fan of wars generally, but it seems that’s how we try to sort out our differences. On this point, we could compare the last 2 World Wars with what’s currently happening in the Westminster Parliament. But we won't here! Given that humans spend a lot of time disagreeing on things – our pieces this week look at two different types of 'war'. One relates to what and how we should eat, while the other's about how we should manage or prevent an important disease, type 1 diabetes. Each of these wars are propagated because they involve two of the biggest industries on the planet, Big Food and Big Pharma, each having been slammed on multiple occasions for cronyism. Do dive into our fibre and type 1 diabetes stories – and discover more about them. Please share these stories widely.
