Immune resilience, meditation and our freedoms
Just when I think we've hit the bottom of the barrel with the widespread censorship that has become so rampant online, the challenge to our freedom of speech hits a new low. Apart from the scores of social media posts, You Tube videos and whistle-blowing documentaries that continue to be removed shortly after being posted, this week sees Mercola.com under fire like never before from the US Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI). The name should ring a few bells. The CSPI and its ex FDA commissioner boss is all fired up because of information on Mercola.com about natural nutrients for supporting immune resilience and "fearmongering about vaccines". You only have to follow the money and see the same handful of names and corporations to understand why. As we near the end of August and the onset of autumn in the northern hemisphere, schools are on the brink of returning. It's a challenging and very divided time with parents, teachers, schools and unions vociferously lining up on one side or the other. In the UK, the Government is remaining steadfast on the return (for the moment), yet the murmurings about flu vaccines and face coverings are getting ever louder. Our greatest protection remains our immune system and it's robustness and resilience to meet whatever challenge we face. It's how we've evolved and why we're still here on this beautiful Planet with the multitude of bacteria and viruses that live here too. In the spirit of solidarity with Dr Mercola and his indomitable team, this weeks sees a partial Throwback Thursday reprise of our immune support information to help you and your family prepare for autumn and beyond - naturally! We've also been gifted some wonderful content for a new Health Hack video by Jacky Parker, who has been inspired by our series on brain inflammation, stress and trauma. It's all about the different ways you can engage in meditation that don't involve being completely still in mind and body. Narrated by Melissa Smith and skillfully created by Ismail Faryad, we hope you can start using some of the ideas straight away. We so need to remain calm, centred and grounded in the knowing and knowledge we have about what is right and just. It's the perfect antidote for stress, which is so damaging to our immune resilience. We believe passionately in our rights to freedom of speech, freedom of health choice, the freedom to share information and the right to education. Please keep on questioning, employing your free and critical thinking to the mainstream narrative, sharing information and finding new ways to beat the censors.
