Let’s not be the losers given all the vaccine hype

Amidst the buzz of announcements of efficacy of the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, we aim this week to give you a reality check. With a significant proportion of the public being unconditionally accepting of a vaccine, the more discerning among us need more than advertising claims to make informed decisions about our health. So we put these two vaccines through the ringer of our 10 criteria vaccine transparency manifesto and expose the gaping deficiencies of information and data.

In our second piece, we’re super excited to at last be able to bring you this news – we have released our first eBook. Through its 170 pages, we take you on a journey of how to use food through our Food4Health guides to help reset your metabolism and develop metabolic flexibility. The book amalgamates years of our work, research and clinical experience and we feel it could be transformative for many.

Next – we bring you insights from a detailed immunological study of a single Australian family by a group of Melbourne researchers. It confirms our view that kids aren’t ‘superspreaders’. It may even suggest that putting kids in the way of the virus – yes, no social distancing and normal life and social interaction – may be important in breaking transmission chains, kids in effect becoming ‘superbarriers’.

Then there’s our covid tracker and a jam-packed collection of news.
