Natural isn’t second fiddle
The stakes are getting ever higher. Tensions grow daily over just how far governments can push lockdown strategies in an apparent bid to safeguard viral infection at the expense of the economy, livelihoods, civil liberties and non-Covid aspects of health. This week – we deliver a socially distanced one hour video discussion I had with Don Mei on the logic of lockdown, also available as a podcast. Then we have a piece that explains something about the uphill battle that natural agents, despite showing great promise so early in the pandemic, have against synthetic patented agents and vaccines. Thirdly, in addition to our weekly news snippets, we then provide some further insights into natural treatments that are being deployed by integrative doctors combatting Covid-19 – that are barely getting a look-in by the medical mainstream. With Gilead, GSK, Sanofi and others controlling the therapeutic agenda – it will be a tough road to re-establish scientific rationality and social justice. But one we need to fight for if we’re to leave behind a society and healthcare system worthy of the next generation. In health, naturally Rob Verkerk PhD Founder, scientific and executive director
