Perception vs reality

Rob Verkerk's important blog this week addresses an issue that we are all subject to—the increasing fragmentation and polarisation of society, greatly fuelled by the way we receive news and how we each perceive reality. I think most of us would agree that united, we can be a stronger force for good. And humanity united and working together has to be a long term goal and strategy if we are to rebuild this world of ours out of the current chaos. But it's not such an easy job with the myriad ways in which we receive information these days. However, understanding the impact of naïve realism and 'filter bubbles' is an important step to seeing more clearly how we can be the answer we've been waiting for.

Knowing how time-challenged we all are these days, our second article is an 'In case you missed it!' with more of the past month's articles now as podcasts that you can listen to whilst on-the-go.
