Protecting natural health options in Europe + Natural News
Legislators are once again targeting natural compounds. This time it's Dutch authorities who are proposing to ban the popular herb, Ashwagandha, due to reports of liver injury, despite its long history of safe use. ANH Europe has submitted a response to the Dutch government's consultation on the ban, strongly opposing the proposal and arguing that the ban would be disproportionate, create legal uncertainty for other traditional herbs, and potentially expose Dutch citizens to greater health risks from inferior or adulterated products.
