Trapped fat and Belgian supplement restrictions

With the worldwide marketing push on the new skinny jabs and weightloss drugs, along with a recent private workshop for obesity researchers looking at competing theories in Copenhagen, overweight is very much the topic du jour. So too is our lead article this week. We look at some enlightening recent research into the vicious cycle involving 'trapped fat' and offer recommendations for how to break it. If, like me, you've ever struggled to lose weight despite draconian effort, then this may be an important piece of the puzzle you've been missing.

ANH-Europe submits a consultation response to tell the European Commission that a proposed Belgian amendment to its food supplement law would violate EU law. A new Belgian draft amendment could prevent companies selling food supplements in Belgium, thereby massively disadvantaging citizens and companies.
