Vaccination may be the single most contentious issue in paediatric health, and possibly medicine generally. It remains contentious for many reasons, including because there are so many conflicting arguments, scientific uncertainty abounds, there is evidence of bias in research, whistle-blowers in government authorities have exposed cover-ups and there is increasing public distrust over what ingredients are present within vaccines. There’s another important reason too: those who’ve been injured by vaccines, or their parents, refuse to be silent.
This week we release an exclusive piece informed by our discussions with Andrew Wakefield at the London showing of his documentary Vaxxed: From Cover-up to Catastrophe that was held at a secret location in London last night.
We also publish a piece that looks more closely at the issue of informed choice regarding childhood vaccines. We conclude the piece with recommendations for scientifically-supported strategies that enhance natural immunity for those who choose either to not vaccinate at all or to delay vaccination or partially vaccinate after 24 months.
It’s a travesty that health authorities, the world over, do not offer information that allows parents to make informed choices. They bully, they mandate, they withhold welfare and they stigmatise. The human immune system, itself the product of millions of years of evolution between mammals and microbes, is by far the most effective pathogen-destroying system we know of. It’s deeply negligent both of government authorities and the medical orthodoxy that the rapidly expanding science relating to approaches that support the development of a more resilient immune system in children is being withheld.

This includes, with some synchronicity given our main stories, a pilot study showing a link between the use of certain childhood vaccines and the development of autoimmune, inflammatory, neuro-psychiatric conditions in children.
